Top Medical Apps on Android in Italy Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw notable trends in the performance of the top medical apps in Italy on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

MioDottore: Prenota una visita from Docplanner Health maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Downloads started at around 16.5K in late June, dipped slightly to around 12.5K in early August, then surged to over 22K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 76.4K, dropping to approximately 69.9K in early August, and peaking at 86K by mid-September.

Doctolib - Your health partner also showed strong performance. Weekly downloads began at nearly 15K, with a slight dip in early August to about 10.6K, and then rising to around 18K by the end of September. Active user numbers were impressive, starting at 119.7K and increasing steadily to reach 140.4K by the end of the quarter.

Blood Pressure App: Bp Monitor by Desarrollos Técnicos had a fluctuating trend. Downloads were around 3.4K at the end of June, peaked at 24.4K in mid-July, and then settled to about 5.5K by the end of September. Revenue showed modest gains, peaking at $44 in late July. Active users started at 55.2K, peaked at 84.3K in mid-July, and then settled to 61.6K by the end of the quarter.

Redcare: Online Pharmacy by Shop-Apotheke B.V. experienced a steady increase in downloads from around 3.5K in late June to 8.3K in mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 10.4K and peaking at 16.1K by mid-September.

MammacheApp showed a stable performance in terms of downloads, maintaining an average of around 1.5K to 2K throughout the quarter.
